Stockton, CA – A disturbing incident occurred at the California Health Care Facility in Stockton on Monday morning, where an employee was attacked by an inmate, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
The attack was reported around 10 a.m., prompting immediate response from the facility's staff. Witnesses saw the inmate choking the employee, leading to the deployment of chemical agents by the staff to intervene and halt the assault.
The employee involved in the altercation was promptly taken to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released. Fortunately, the inmate did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
