The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, have made a move to strengthen their frontcourt by acquiring center Jalen Thomas from the Windy City Bulls in exchange for a 2026 second-round NBA G League Draft pick.

Standing 6-foot-10, Thomas played collegiately at Georgia State University (2019-22) and Butler University (2022-24). During his time at Georgia State, he averaged 7.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, ranking among the top performers in the Sun Belt Conference, while also helping lead the team to a conference title and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022. At Butler, he was the team’s leading shot-blocker, finishing with 41 blocks in his final season—the eighth most in a single season in program history.

After going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, Thomas joined the Windy City Bulls, where he averaged 3.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 12.9 minutes per game in 14 appearances.

With the addition of Thomas, the Stockton Kings aim to bolster their defensive presence and interior depth as they continue their G League campaign.
