Stockton Families Forced To Leave Their Homes

Thursday morning families were forced out of their homes due to the mobile home park being deemed uninhabitable. In a strange event right before Christmas, these families are forced to find shelter in the cold.

"The process was started back in June and directed all unlawful tenants to vacate the premises," San Joaquin County Sheriff Public Information Officer Sandra Mendez said in a statement. "All residents were given plenty of notice to move out, but refused to do so." When the Sheriff's Department arrived they described it as, “packed full of garbage.” A person at the park home said, "I don't understand... it's not right," "They don't care, they don't. They got a nice, warm place to go to every night. They got the money to do what they want to do. We don't."
