Halloween enthusiasts in Stockton can soon get into the spooky spirit as Spirit Halloween prepares to open two new locations in the city this summer. The popular seasonal retailer will be setting up shop at West Lane Plaza, 8001 West Lane, and Pacific Town Center, 730 Hammer Lane, just in time for Halloween festivities.
The West Lane store, which will occupy the former Big Lots space, is set to open in August, while the Pacific Town Center location, taking over the former TJ Maxx space, will open in September. "We are excited to haunt the Stockton community with thrills and chills, and we can’t wait for members of the community to see all the news to come this Halloween season," a Spirit Halloween spokesperson told The Record.
The stores will offer a wide range of Halloween costumes, decorations, and accessories. According to the spokesperson, popular costumes this year are expected to include characters from Deadpool, Wolverine, Terrifier, and Beetlejuice. "It may be too early to tell, but each Halloween season we see buzz for characters from the latest films and cultural moments," the spokesperson added.
In addition to the Stockton locations, Spirit Halloween is also opening stores in Manteca and Tracy. The Manteca store is now open at the former Homelife Furniture & Accessories on Spreckels Avenue, and the Tracy location, at 122 W. 11th St. in the former Smart & Final building, will open in August.
Spirit Halloween is also hiring seasonal associates for the upcoming Halloween season, with positions available in Stockton including store manager, assistant store manager, and sales associate. For more information on job openings and store locations, visit spirithalloween.com.
