Stockton police are currently investigating a reported robbery that occurred on Monday morning at the Valley Strong Credit Union, located in the Venetian Square shopping center at the intersection of Pershing Avenue and March Lane.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, according to Officer David Scott. The specifics of what was stolen remain unclear, and the police have not yet provided any information regarding potential suspects.

The incident drew a swift response from law enforcement. Around 11:40 a.m., at least three Stockton police SUVs with flashing lights encircled the west entrance of the credit union. Officers were seen entering and exiting the building, and they did not appear to be in distress.

Approximately ten minutes later, at 11:50 a.m., police were observed inside the credit union, conducting interviews with an employee who was behind the counter. A police crime scene investigator arrived at the scene a few minutes afterward.

In light of the ongoing investigation, the Valley Strong Credit Union branch announced that it would remain closed for the remainder of the day, affecting its regular operations.
