Attention Stockton drivers: Two major streets will undergo road repairs starting Tuesday, impacting traffic for the following two days. Stockton city officials have announced that sections of Brookside Road and Shadowbrook Drive will be addressed due to their deteriorating pavement conditions.

Specifically, Brookside Road between March Lane and Driftwood Place, along with Shadowbrook Drive between Brookside Road and Brookview Drive, are the focus of these repairs.

The city has ensured that as construction ensues, appropriate signage will be installed to inform drivers about changing conditions in the affected areas. It's crucial to note that speed limits will be slashed to 30 mph throughout the construction phase.

The City of Stockton Public Works Department, responsible for overseeing the repairs, has clarified that only a single lane in each direction will be available for drivers during daylight hours. However, those frequenting adjacent businesses or residing nearby will still have full access.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution when navigating these areas. Recommendations include paying close attention to construction signs, accounting for potential delays by allocating extra travel time, and maintaining reduced speeds.
