The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on San Joaquin Street as a 75-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman stood outside the jewelry store. According to 911 callers, the two suspects, armed with handguns, approached the elderly pair and demanded their valuables. One of the robbers forcefully took the man's bag, containing an unknown amount of jewelry.

In a bold and courageous act, the store owner, who was also standing outside, drew a handgun and fired multiple shots at the would-be thieves, causing them to flee the scene. The robbers made their escape in a black sedan, which sped away from the area.

As of now, no injuries have been reported, and authorities are actively investigating the incident. The brave actions of the store owner have left the community in awe, while the police urge the public to report any information related to the case.
