Ready to keep vampires at bay with delectable garlic-infused dishes? Then mark your calendars! The Garlic Festival is set to return to Stockton, transforming the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds into a garlic-lover's paradise on August 5th and 6th.

Originally hosted in Gilroy, California — famed as the "Garlic Capital of the World" — the festival moved to Stockton in 2021 after Gilroy decided to discontinue hosting the event.

Feast your senses on an array of garlic-inspired creations, from savory garlic brisket and garlic-infused corn dogs to the surprisingly sweet delight of garlic ice cream. Local vendors are ready to serve up these unique, pungent delicacies to all attendees.

But it's not just about the food. The festival also offers plenty of entertainment, with monster truck rides, a classic car show, and the Miss Garlic Festival Scholarship Pageant. Kids won't feel left out, either, thanks to the inflatable fun zone, splash area, and a mini-golf course.

Admission prices are set at $15 for adults (ages 18-64) and $10 for children (ages 6-17). Entry is free for military members, seniors aged 65 and above, and children under 5. Unlimited wristbands for the inflatable fun zone and splash zone can be purchased online for $25 or at the event for $30. Parking is available for $10 (cash only).

So if you're game for a flavor-packed experience, head on over to the Garlic Festival in Stockton. For more details about this local event, please visit https://www.cagarlicfestival.com.
