Downtown Stockton Alliance To Helping Restore Broken Windows

Over the past year many downtown shops have been vandalized. A Lot of these store fronts are local businesses and are hurting every time this happens. Downtown Stockton has had enough of letting this take over and have agreed to donate 50,000 dollars to any local business that experiences this kind of attack. Ayaana Williams of ABC10 reported the director saying,  “I know some of the businesses and properties down here have large plate glass windows and that they can be very expensive," said DSA Director, Michael Huber. "We're here to help you." Huber would love to just see these business owners succeed and not have to worry about broken windows everyday they come to work. Businesses that have replaced windows since Jan. 1, 2023, can receive a full reimbursement from the DSA with a receipt -- no questions asked. This program will last as long as funds last and we encourage you to take advantage of this. "The Downtown Stockton Alliance has helped make this a place where people want to come."
