Campus Police Seek Suspect In Alleged Inappropriate Touching Incident

Campus police in Stockton are searching for a man who allegedly inappropriately touched a woman on Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. on the Cunningham North Pathway while the woman was walking northbound.

The suspect approached the woman and initiated a conversation, which she promptly ended. However, the man continued to follow her. After stumbling, he touched the woman's buttocks, apologized, and walked away.

Delta College police are looking for a man who is 5 foot 5 inches or 5 foot 6 inches tall, with a thin build and dark hair styled in two braids. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light-colored plaid shirt, light blue jeans, white shoes, and a white hat with a large block pattern.

To ensure safety on campus, individuals are encouraged to use emergency blue phones, call 209-954-5000, or use the Rave Mobile Guardian app to contact campus police. In case of an emergency in a classroom or office, dial 5000 and select 911.
