Jucélia do Rocio Chiquim said she had struggled with eyelid sagging since childhood, which left her self-conscious for years. In late 2023, after multiple consultations, she decided to undergo both upper and lower blepharoplasty, a surgery that removes excess skin around the eyes.

“I feel more confident and comfortable with my appearance,” she told People. “My friends and family noticed the difference and even asked for recommendations. At no point did I regret choosing the blepharoplasty.”
