The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 17-year-old victim of a Saturday night shooting in Stockton as Julian Martinez.
The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. at Anderson Park along North El Dorado Street. Martinez was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have not released any suspect information, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
