Stockton, Calif. — Get ready to make a splash and possibly history at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds this Saturday. Stockton is hosting Splash Fest, an event poised to break the Guinness World Record for the largest water balloon fight. The festival, set to start at 2 p.m., is not only a chance to participate in a record-breaking attempt but also offers a day filled with fun activities for all ages.

Organized by the youth outreach program Balloons Over Bullets, the event aims to have 10,000 participants engage in a water balloon fight using 209,000 water balloons. This thrilling battle is part of a broader effort to provide a safe, communal, and exhilarating environment for families and youth in the area.

In addition to the water balloon fight, Splash Fest will feature over 30 food trucks offering a variety of local and international cuisine. Attendees can also enjoy giant slip-n-slides, dunk tanks, and water inflatables, ensuring there's plenty of wet fun to go around. The event will also include live music performances, with rappers 310babii and Haiti babii taking the stage, and C.Lee from Thizzler Live serving as the MC for the day.
