This will be the Seventh Annual Entrepreneurial Business Holiday Boutique. This event consists of special education students selling their homemade gifts for you to enjoy during the holidays.

Cocoa boxes have been what the students have been working on all week and plan to sell 600 of them at the event. Angelaydet Rocha of the Record reported that Danielle McPherson, the students teacher, said “It gives our students an opportunity to work on the job skills without a lot of pressure, and also, the students making the products, they get to see the whole process from beginning to end, like a microbusiness.”

If you are interested in supporting these students here is all the info you need: If you go it’s at 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8. It will be at Wentworth Education Center, Chartville Conference Rooms, San Joaquin County Office of Education, 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton. Admission is free so feel free to show up at no cost except purchasing a box for 10 dollars. For Rocha’s full article visit the Record.net
