Isaac Jones’ 35-Point Performance Leads Stockton Kings To Victory Over South Bay Lakers

The Stockton Kings continued their strong season with a dominant 112-99 victory over the South Bay Lakers on Wednesday night at Adventist Health Arena.

Isaac Jones, a two-way forward for the Kings, led the charge with an impressive 35 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Colby Jones added 19 points, while Jon Elmore contributed 14 points to secure Stockton’s ninth win of the season.

For South Bay, DaJuan Gordon, Kylor Kelley, and Grayson Murphy each posted 12 points, while Jordan Goodwin added 10 points. The Lakers’ bench played a significant role, with Sir’Jabari Rice leading all reserves with 27 points.

The game was tightly contested early, with both teams shooting over 60% from the field in the first quarter. Stockton edged ahead 36-33 after the opening frame, but South Bay responded, outscoring the Kings in the second quarter to take a 54-50 halftime lead. However, Stockton regained control in the third quarter, outscoring South Bay 30-20 before sealing the 13-point victory.

The Stockton Kings (9-2) will host the Texas Legends (4-6) at Adventist Health Arena on Thursday, January 23, at 7:00 PM PST. Fans can catch the action live on ESPN+.
