Celebrate The Fourth of July Across San Joaquin County With Parades, Fireworks, And More

Stockton, Calif. — As the nation gears up to celebrate Independence Day, San Joaquin County offers a plethora of events to mark this historic day. From parades and pancake breakfasts to breathtaking fireworks displays, there is something for everyone this Fourth of July.

1. Celebrate America in Lodi: Kick off the festivities early on Tuesday, July 2, at Hutchins Street Square at West Park in Lodi. Starting at 6 p.m., this free family event will feature live music, and the first 500 guests will receive free flags. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics and enjoy the evening under the shade.

2. 4th of July Parade and Festival in Stockton: Downtown Stockton will come alive on July 4 with a parade starting at 11 a.m., featuring former NASA Astronaut José M. Hernández as grand marshal. The festivities will continue at Weber Point Events Center with artisanal food vendors, activities for kids, and live performances. The evening will conclude with fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m.

3. Annual Barron Hilton Fireworks Display at Mandeville Island: This stunning fireworks display over the Delta waters starts with an air show at 6:30 p.m. on July 4, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Accessible by boat, this event promises a spectacular view for families and visitors.

4. 4th of July at Lodi Lake: Begin the day with a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lodi Lake Park. Post-breakfast, the park will host various vendors and public access to the beach and boathouse, culminating in a fireworks show around 9:30 p.m.

5. Annual 4th of July Parade in Manteca: This parade honors Vietnam veterans and starts at 10 a.m. on July 4, beginning at Main and Jason streets and ending at Center Street and Sycamore Avenue in Manteca.

6. 4th of July Fireworks Show at Legacy Fields Sports Complex in Tracy: From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4, enjoy entertainment, food, and face painting. Tickets are $30 per car, with advance purchase required.

7. 4th of July Pancake Breakfast and Hot Air Balloon Launch in Tracy: Starting at 6 a.m. on July 4 at Lincoln Park, enjoy a pancake breakfast followed by a hot air balloon launch, weather permitting.
