Your Top Five May Events In Stockton, California

The start of May brings with it new opportunities to enjoy city life. This month's lineup of events include Stockton Flavor Fest, more Farmer’s Market adventures, Cinco De Mayo Family Festival, Lodi Wine Experience, and more! We compiled a list of our top five events in the area.

1. Stockton Flavor Fest: Save the dates for the biggest food event in the area. Happening this year from May 17th-19th, in downtown Stockton, brought to life by Visit Stockton in collaboration with the City of Stockton. Food vendors, live performances, interactive workshops, an exclusive drag brunch, and so much more await attendees! Learn more about the festival and how you can attend  here.

2. Cinco De Mayo Family Festival: Happening this weekend from May 4th and 5th, in downtown Stockton brought to you by El Concilio. Last year over 31,000 locals attended, which resulted in a two-day event this year! We expect all the food, laughter, and good vibes. Over 125 food vendors will be available with a wide variety of food including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, burgers, and fries. The event focuses on celebrating diversity and cultures, in the area. 3. Lodi Street Faire: Also happening this weekend, on May 5th, in Lodi. The biannual Faire is comprised of 500 vendors selling antiques, arts & crafts, retail items, and more! A family friendly event for locals of all ages. This year’s sponsors include Chevrolet, Marriott, and Raising Canes. Can’t make it this weekend? Catch it again in October! 4. Delta Drama Presents Our Town: Performances occurring on May 3rd – May 5th at Tillie Lewis Theatre in Stockton. The play is based on Thornton Wilder’s philosophical observations about living, dying, and young love. This version of ‘Our Town’ is multilingual with translated passages by Nilo Cruz and Jeff Agustin. All ages are welcome and students go in at a discounted rate. A performance you won’t want to miss! 5. Stars Wars Night With The Stockton Ports: Star Wars fans, this one's for you! Over 60 seasons and 11 league titles, the Stockton Ports continue their season strong. Catch the game on May 4th, at Banner Island Park for a fun filled Stars Wars night. The Ports will be continuing their play against Visalia Rawhide in a galactical journey filled with adventure, fandom, and fun!
