The University of the Pacific (UOP) celebrates a significant milestone this academic year, boasting its highest enrollment numbers to date. With a total of 6,755 students now attending its three campuses, UOP continues to solidify its reputation as a prominent academic institution in the region.
Several factors contribute to this historic rise in numbers. A marked demand for the university's graduate programs and a surge in international student admissions are among the primary drivers of this growth. Remarkably, international students now account for 13% of UOP's diverse student body.

Christopher Callahan, the President of the University of the Pacific, shed light on the broader implications of this international presence on campus. "While this surge enriches the educational experience for international students, it equally benefits our domestic students. Exposure to a range of cultures, backgrounds, and ways of thinking prepares all our students for an increasingly globalized world," Callahan remarked.

Compared to last year, there has been an impressive 7% growth in total enrollment. With these rising figures, the University of the Pacific stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of comprehensive, globally-inclusive education.
