The 2024 Te Fa’a Nō Te ‘Ori Tahitian Dance Festival In Stockton, California

It was a weekend surrounded by great vibes and amazing talent, competing at the 2024 Te Fa’a Nō Te ‘Ori Tahitian Dance Festival in Stockton, California. The festival took place at Weston Ranch High School, with hundreds of attendees coming from different parts of the world. The Mata’irea Polynesian Culture Preservation hosted the event, celebrating culture and rewarding talent. 

The competition featured over 900 dancers of different age groups competing for the coveted win.

The smell of fresh flowers present with every dance, as the costumes consisted of beautiful fresh florals. 

The event took place starting at 10:00am and featured a lunch break consisting of different local vendors. Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Mexican Food, Funnel Cakes, and more delicious finds were available for purchase during the competition.

As the crowd gathered, Tahitian pride was seen and felt, as members of the community proudly attended and cheered on their favorite competitor. 

Finalists were selected to compete by the judges in a final dance off where then winners were selected. You can view the full list of finalist and overall placements here
