Stockton's highly-anticipated Tacos and Tequila Fest, originally scheduled for this Saturday at Banner Island Ballpark, has been canceled due to "unavoidable circumstances," according to an official news release.
The event was expected to be a grand affair, featuring hip-hop performances from artists like T.I., Rick Ross, and Lil Jon, as well as a variety of food trucks and vendors.
The Stockton Ports, who were organizing the event, announced they are currently working to refund ticket buyers through their original payment methods. Due to the high volume of refunds, the Ports are asking attendees for their patience as they work to issue refunds as quickly as possible.
For those who do not receive their refunds by September 15, the Ports have provided a contact number (209-644-1900) and email address (info@stocktonports.com) for further inquiries.
"We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding throughout this process," the Stockton Ports stated in the release.
For those still craving some entertainment, other upcoming concerts and events in the region might serve as alternatives.
