Stockton, CA — The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, are bringing holiday joy and community engagement to Stockton through their annual Season of Doing Good. This December, the team is set to host a series of activations, including toy donations and participation in local festive events.

Aaron Morales, Vice President of Business Operations for the Stockton Kings, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to utilize the team's platform to contribute positively to the holiday spirit and support those in need.

In a significant charitable move, the team, in partnership with Jazwares Cares, plans to donate 1,700 toys to local families. These toys will be distributed across various organizations such as the Children’s Home of Stockton, Department of Child Support Services, and El Concilio, among others.

Additionally, the Stockton Kings are collaborating with the Santa Dash, a walk/run event at the University of the Pacific on December 2. The first 250 participants in this event will receive Stockton Kings game tickets, with a portion of the event's proceeds going to the Midsole Project, a nonprofit dedicated to overcoming barriers that hinder youth participation in running.

The team's commitment to spreading holiday magic extends to their participation in local parades and other festive events. On December 2, during their game against the G League Ignite, the arena will transform into a winter wonderland, complete with a meet-and-greet with Dunkson Claus and the Grinch, special merchandise deals, and more. The first 500 fans will also receive a special Dunkson holiday hat.

The Season of Doing Good continues on December 12 when the Stockton Kings host the Salt Lake City Stars. In a nod to the festival of lights, the team will light the menorah for the fifth night of Hanukkah with Rabbi Avremel Brod from Chabad of Stockton. Attendees will also have the chance to receive a Stockton Kings LED baton.

All beneficiaries and audiences for the Season of Doing Good events are predetermined and selected in collaboration with local nonprofit partners and community organizations, ensuring a focused and impactful outreach.
