The Stockton Kings (4-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, secured a 108-98 victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors (2-2) Wednesday night at Adventist Health Arena. The Kings delivered a balanced and high-energy performance, dominating in the second half to seal the win.
Colby Jones led the charge for Stockton, putting up an impressive 27 points, six rebounds, two assists, four steals, and two blocks. Mason Jones added 16 points, seven assists, and three rebounds, while Isaac Jones notched a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Orlando Robinson contributed 15 points, four rebounds, and three assists to round out the team’s standout efforts.
For Santa Cruz, forward Kevin Knox II paced the team with 25 points and six rebounds. Guard Yuri Collins recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 assists, while center Quentin Post tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds.
The game began with Santa Cruz taking an early 12-4 lead, closing out the first quarter with a 23-21 advantage. However, Stockton surged in the second quarter behind Mason Jones’ sharp shooting, including three three-pointers, giving the Kings a 58-49 lead at halftime.
The Kings widened their lead in the third quarter, with Colby Jones scoring 15 of his 27 points in the second half. Stockton’s defense shone as they held the Warriors under 100 points for the first time this season. The Kings saw their largest lead—a 19-point margin—late in the third quarter.
Stockton’s next game will take place on Sunday, November 24, when they travel to Los Angeles to face the South Bay Lakers at UCLA Health Training Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM PST, and fans can watch the game on Roku or SPECSN-LA.
