Stockton's downtown arena is set to embrace a new identity. In a significant move, the 10,000-seat venue will be rebranded as the Adventist Health Arena, as part of a multi-year partnership between Adventist Health, ASM Global, and the city of Stockton.
Adventist Health, a faith-based nonprofit integrated health system with a presence across California, Hawaii, and Oregon, has teamed up with the arena. This collaboration promises to usher in exciting changes, both aesthetically and experientially.
Among the noteworthy upgrades in store for the freshly renamed Adventist Health Arena are a cutting-edge 360-degree LED center-hung scoreboard, visually captivating ribbon boards, and behind-the-scenes enhancements. These enhancements are designed to enhance the overall arena experience for visitors.
Jason Perry, the General Manager of ASM Global Stockton, emphasized that this partnership transcends mere branding. He remarked, "This is more than simply changing the name of the arena - it is about bringing together the private and public sector into something that is more than branding. This partnership will bring a new and creative way of thinking about events while welcoming new community members to our events through the Community Benefit Program."
Over the past year, Stockton's waterfront arena has been a venue for a series of remarkable events, including WWE spectacles, AEW's thrilling "Dynamite" and "Rampage" shows, as well as concerts featuring renowned artists such as Peso Pluma, Banda MS, Cody Johnson, and Journey.
Looking ahead, the newly anointed Adventist Health Arena is gearing up for an impressive lineup of events. Fans can eagerly anticipate performances by Gabriel Iglesias, Bert Kreischer, Los Tigers del Norte, StocktonCon, and the Stockton Kings' home opener against the South Bay Lakers on Nov. 19.
