Southwest Airline Update

Travel has been extremely difficult the last couple of days and the end does not seem to be near. Southwest Airlines has been shockingly at the forefront of flight cancellations.

Sac International Airport has been one of the toughest airports to fly out of. From Monday until now Southwest has canceled over 8,000 flights. Many people have been stranded in the airport not only in Sacramento but across the country. Southwest Airlines alone accounted for 140 canceled flights at SMF on Wednesday, reported by ABC10. "I’m missing around like $9,000 worth of stuff right now, and that’s just between two bags," said Kenny Riggins, who after a cancellation, rescheduling, and multiple delays finally made it home Tuesday.”

Many experienced a harder holiday week than expected and let's hope something more can be done for those who missed time with loved ones. We will keep you updated on this but we hope everyone was able to finally make it home safely. For the full story visit ABC 10’s site.
