A wave of concern has washed over the Park, Valley Oak, and Lakeview districts in Stockton as three armed robberies occurred in quick succession on Thursday night, according to reports from the Stockton Police Department.
The first robbery occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on the 1400 Block of South Airport Way. A man and a woman, aged 49 and 43 respectively, were approached by an individual who demanded their money at gunpoint. The victims complied, and the assailant, described as a Hispanic man clad in white clothing, fled the scene.
Roughly half an hour later, another armed robbery took place on the 2000 Block of Pacific Avenue. Two men, described as Black adults, targeted a 26-year-old man, seizing his belongings under the threat of their handguns before absconding.
The third incident happened shortly after, at around 10:40 p.m., in the Lakeview district. Here, a 36-year-old man was at his workplace when two assailants walked in, demanding he hand over his money. After the man complied, the suspects, described as a Black male and a man who was either Hispanic or white, departed the premises.
The police have not yet established any link between the three crimes. The investigation continues, leaving the residents of these districts in apprehension.
