The San Joaquin County METRO Narcotics Task Force disrupted a significant drug trafficking operation on December 10, following months of investigation into a group involved in distributing methamphetamine, cocaine, and firearms.
The incident culminated in a high-speed chase through a crowded Home Depot parking lot in Stockton, endangering public safety. Task force officers used a patrol vehicle to block the suspects’ car, preventing further risks to the community. While several suspects attempted to escape on foot, all were quickly apprehended.
A search of the vehicle revealed 25 pounds of methamphetamine and a quarter kilogram of cocaine. Three individuals were arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail, facing charges related to drug trafficking, reckless driving, and other offenses.
The operation underscores the METRO Narcotics Task Force's dedication to combating the illegal drug trade and ensuring public safety.
