Stockton, CA - In a concerning incident, an occupied residence in Stockton became the target of gunfire on Saturday evening, leaving 11 individuals, including five children, inside the home. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The Stockton Police Department responded to the incident after receiving a report of shots fired into a home located in the 2900 block of Stanfield Drive at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that the residence had been hit twice by gunfire. The occupants at the time of the incident included four women, two men, and five children ranging in age from 3 to 14.

Despite the close call, everyone inside the home escaped unharmed. The police have not released any information about a potential suspect, and it remains unclear whether the shooting was targeted or random.
