In a shocking event, the residence of Stephen Castanon, a North Stockton homeowner, was violated by a burglar last Friday morning, leaving the family distressed and valuables missing.
According to Castanon, the incident unfolded mere minutes after his family left for the day at 7:06 a.m. The security camera installed at his front door recorded a man ringing the doorbell at 7:08 a.m. The footage shows that the suspect waited less than half a minute after ringing the doorbell before shattering a front window and entering the home.
Once inside, the burglar allegedly embarked on a spree of destruction and theft, stealing a collection of cherished items, including old wedding rings, family jewelry, and tablets, amongst others.
Castanon and his family are presently grappling with the aftermath of the break-in, facing both material loss and a profound sense of violated safety.
