In a last minute change of course, San Joaquin Valley stayed clear of the bomb cyclone. Recently California has been watching aggressive weather hitting the coast and the scare of a bomb cyclone was a big fear for the valley.
Thousands in the area have been preparing for harsh winds, inches of rain and mass flooding. Luckily not much has happened during the State of Emergency and all of us are relieved. However rains are still to be expected in the next couple of days but water levels and rivers will be being closely watched.
