Stockton city council welcomed their new members this week. Michele Padilla, Michael Blower and Brando Villapudua were those who were sworn in.

Padilla is a mother, wife, school teacher and, now, a Stockton city council member. She finished her speech tonight enthusiastic, ready to start showing what she can do.

Blower gained at least 50% of the vote during the election six months ago, getting him the District 3 representative position. Blower was excited to get right to work after these long awaited six months.

Cassie Dickman of the Stocktonia reported, "Stockton and what the community has to offer is a source of pride for him, Villapudua said.” He thanked all his supporters for their loyalty. “I’m not going anywhere else,” he said. “I’m committed to dedicating my life’s work to my city.”

We can only hope that these new members will bring change for the betterment of Stockton. What do you think of these new council members? For the full story check out Dickman’s article.
