As of January 1st, 2023 the minimum wage will increase to $15.50 an hour. This will be a nice step up for some, especially with the year and increase wages that have been seen all over the state.
Right now the minimum wage price is $15 dollars an hour for companies over 25 employees, and dollar less with companies with less than that amount. Obviously some exceptions will apply such as: outside salespersons, individuals who are the parent, spouse, or child of the employer, employees who are mentally or physically disabled, or both, and for nonprofit organizations.
