A truck driver from Manteca, California, is facing severe legal consequences after a devastating crash in Parker, Arizona. Karan Singh, aged 28, allegedly drove his semi-truck directly into three stationary vehicles at a red light, resulting in one death and several serious injuries.

In a shocking turn of events, after causing the fiery crash, Singh was seen on surveillance footage walking away from the devastating scene and proceeding to order lunch for himself. Halie Jackson, a witness to the aftermath, captured the semi-truck engulfed in flames on video. "I've never seen anything so devastating," Jackson expressed, describing the scene as a mess with car parts scattered all over the road.
Debbie Fritzen, whose family was among the victims in one of the cars impacted during their vacation in Arizona, shared her distress, stating, "I have a pit in my stomach that I couldn't fathom that I knew my cousin was in one of those cars."
Singh has since been charged with second-degree murder and eight counts of aggravated assault. Authorities are currently awaiting toxicology reports to determine if Singh was under the influence during the tragic incident.
Notably, Singh's trailer displayed signage for "RTL Carrier, Incorporated," a Manteca-based trucking company. Federal safety records for the company show a total of 36 drivers and a history of four crashes, two resulting in injuries but none fatal until this incident.
Karan Singh made his initial court appearance this Tuesday in Arizona and is currently held on a $1 million bail. The events have left the local communities of both Parker and Manteca in shock as they await further details on the investigation.
