The streets of downtown Lodi were illuminated with joy and excitement as thousands of spectators gathered to witness the annual Lodi Parade of Lights on Thursday night. This cherished community event, organized by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Lodi Foundation, featured more than 80 dazzling floats, marching bands, and dance groups.

The Parade of Lights has become a staple of the holiday season in Lodi, drawing an estimated 30,000 people each year, rain or shine. This year was no exception, as families, friends, and community members lined the streets with lawn chairs, blankets, and festive spirits, some arriving hours early to claim the best viewing spots.

Floats decked out in colorful lights, creative holiday themes, and local performers entertained the crowd. Marching bands filled the air with festive music, while dance groups brought energy and movement to the procession.

The parade's community impact extends beyond entertainment. Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Lodi Foundation, the event reflects the organization’s mission to bring people together and support the well-being of the Lodi community.

The Parade of Lights continues to be one of the most anticipated annual events in the region, marking the unofficial start of the holiday season for Lodi residents.
