Las Maris Vegan Mexican Food Truck

Stockton has a new food truck that people just can’t get enough of. Las Maris is a vegan Mexican food truck that people have developed such a craving for when it comes to town.

“It cruises through the Stockton area, whipping up a world of flavor for its customers, from the steak, chicken and birria tacos, to quesadillas, burritos, and more.” Owner Carlos Bryant says the food may taste like meat and look like meat — but it's not the typical dish, KCRA3 says.

Bryant mentions he was seeing health struggles from family members during the COVID-19 pandemic that inspired the idea for change. Las Maris is the first all-vegan food truck in the area. His goal is to address a lack of healthier local fast-food options in the city.

Las Maris has a plan to expand and gives back by bringing food to local communities during free food distributions whenever possible. Bryant will soon be partnering with local food banks to further this give back plan.

Las Maris can be found at 6530 Pacific Ave. six days per week. Dates and hours on their social media page @lasmarisfoodtruck. Be sure to check out the truck for some yummy alternatives for a meal.
