Getting Rid Of Your Christmas Tree

Yellow Line
|

The presents are unwrapped and the new year is coming. If you bought a real tree, here is how to dispose of it accordingly.

Starting on December 26th - January 13th Stockton will be picking up curbside trees.

  • If the tree is taller than 6 feet, cut it in half so it is easier to remove.
  • Place the tree at the curb.
  • Flocked or fireproofed trees may be placed curbside; however, they will not be recycled.

“If you still have a Christmas tree to dispose of after January 13, 2023, please cut it into smaller pieces and place it in your organics cart for recycling. Flocked or fireproofed trees must be placed in the trash cart as they cannot be recycled. Any Christmas tree left curbside after January 13, 2023, will be removed and the customer charged the authorized rate for its removal.” Via Stocktongov.

We hope you enjoyed the holidays and were excited to ring in the New Year with you.
