A year ago, El Forastero Mexican food was set on fire by an arsonist. Finally customers and employees are glad to have one of their favorite food joints back on the block.
After the entire building was nearly destroyed, people from all over Stockton showed up for the grand reopening last Friday. Jay Kim from Abc 10 reported, "It's been exciting because we put in new technology, we upgraded a lot of our stuff," said Dominguez. “It was nice to see a lot of customers who were excited that we were back." The restaurant is open 24 hours a day and Stocktonians can’t get enough.
This week if you are looking for a bite to eat go out to El Forastero. For the full article of the fire and reopening, read on ABC 10’s website.
