Four Injured In Separate Shooting Incidents In Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif. — A violent night in Stockton resulted in four people being wounded in two separate shooting incidents on Monday, according to local authorities.

The first incident took place in the 1800 block of North California Street within the Civic District. Stockton Police Department reports indicate that a 21-year-old and a 30-year-old were shot during the episode. Both victims managed to transport themselves to a nearby hospital for treatment. During this same incident, a 25-year-old associate, present in the parking lot at the time, also sustained gunshot wounds.

In a separate and unrelated incident, a 36-year-old man became a victim of an armed robbery and shooting while walking in the 300 block of North Wilson Way in the Park District. The assailant reportedly stole the man's property before shooting him and fleeing the scene. The injured man was promptly taken to a hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

As of now, Stockton Police have not released any information regarding suspects in either shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement is urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the cases.

These incidents have raised concerns about safety in the affected neighborhoods, prompting discussions among community leaders about strategies to curb the rising violence in the area.
