Explosion In Downtown Apartments

Yellow Line
|

As if the storm was not enough to worry about, 35 residents were evacuated from their apartments. This was not from bad weather or the bomb cyclone but because of an explosion causing a two alarm fire.

“Two separate arson incidents were reported at the Grab and Go Market near the corner of Acacia and El Dorado Streets Wednesday night” the record.net reports. The first incident took place earlier in the evening. Two individuals walked into the market and lit two Molotov’s, throwing to the ground creating a small fire. Later that night an explosion happened however these are thought to be separate incidents. No one was reported to be hurt thankfully.

We hope all you fellow Stocktonians stay safe and those who are affected can recover. For more on this visit therecord.net.
