Stockton mayoral candidate Christina Fugazi is making her stance clear with the campaign slogan "Enough is Enough." As she runs to succeed current Mayor Kevin Lincoln, who is vying for a congressional seat, Fugazi has outlined her top priorities for the city, with crime and police retention at the forefront.

Fugazi, who currently serves as a high school assistant principal, emphasizes her firsthand experience with the challenges facing Stockton’s youth. "I'm at the front lines at the ground level. I see what our kids are having to go through," she said, citing concerns about the environments students navigate daily, including passing by smoke shops, liquor stores, and homeless encampments on their way to school.

In her campaign, Fugazi has been vocal about the need for better resource allocation, particularly in addressing homelessness and providing public amenities like tamper-proof restrooms. "Enough is enough with the crime. Enough is enough with the trash. Enough is enough with the homeless, where we've gotten money and we haven't spent it in a way that has truly addressed the underlying issues behind homelessness," she said.

Fugazi also responded to her opponent, Tom Patti, and his decision to bring his friend Mike Tyson to town, questioning the impact such events have on the community. "Tyson isn't improving our community. He has not changed from when he was here to how he is here now to improve it," Fugazi remarked.

As Stockton’s mayoral race heats up, Fugazi’s focus remains on practical solutions to the city’s most pressing issues, with a commitment to improving the lives of Stockton’s residents.
