In a recent announcement by Stockton Unified officials, it was revealed that the principal and an assistant principal of Edison High School have been placed on paid administrative leave.

The reasons behind this decision have not been disclosed, leading to speculations and questions from the school community. In this blog post, we will delve into the known details of the situation and discuss how the school is moving forward in the interim.

Edison High School Principal Chris Anderson was placed on leave on January 27th, while Assistant Principal Christina Fugazi was put on leave more recently, as confirmed by district spokesperson Melinda Meza. Unfortunately, the district has chosen not to comment on the reasons for the administrators' leave, leaving many wondering about the circumstances behind this decision.

To keep the school running smoothly, Kristi Lee, one of the school's four assistant principals, has been appointed as the acting principal until further notice. Lee, a dedicated educator who has taught at Edison for 19 years before becoming an assistant principal, will assume Anderson's responsibilities.

As for Fugazi's duties, Meza confirmed that someone will be taking over, but the identity of the individual is yet to be announced. For more on this visit Stocktonia.
