Family and friends of Jacob VanZant, who disappeared on February 17 after dining at a restaurant in Lodi, are asking for help from the community after receiving a new lead.

According to Jacob's sister, Jessica Alonzo, police tracked his phone to an area near the marina and levy on 8 Mile Drive in Lodi, close to the second bridge. The family is now requesting boats and sonar equipment to search the water for his car. His family is convinced that he did not leave voluntarily without informing them. They describe Jacob as a good person who deserves to be found.

The search parties will continue on Thursday and Friday, starting at 10 a.m. at Gibbons Park. The family has requested that local businesses review their security footage from February 17 to determine the direction Jacob's car was heading when he left. This will help them to confirm that they are looking in the right location.

The disappearance of Jacob has left his family and friends distraught. They have been scouring Lodi and Stockton for answers, but with little success. The latest information has given them hope that they will find Jacob soon. The family is asking for anyone who may have seen Jacob or his car to come forward and contact the authorities.

As the search for Jacob continues, the community is urged to come together and support his family. The disappearance of a loved one is a difficult and traumatic experience, and any help is appreciated. Anyone with information about Jacob's whereabouts is urged to contact the Lodi Police Department.
