Stockton area students and their families have a unique opportunity to explore their higher education options at Delta College’s 47th annual College Night on September 4. The event, taking place on Delta’s Stockton campus, will feature representatives from over 40 universities across California, as well as provide information on transfer and career opportunities available through Delta College.
College Night, scheduled from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m., is designed to help students gain insight into the wide array of educational paths available to them. Chris Frymire, manager of the Delta Connect Center, emphasized the value of the event, stating, “College Night gives students a chance to gain insight into the many options available to them. We’ll also take the opportunity to remind them that Delta College itself is an excellent and affordable option, with dozens of career education programs and transfer pathways to choose from, and free tuition for first-time, full-time college students.”
The evening will include several key sessions to help attendees navigate their educational journey:
Current high school students, Delta students, and parents will have the chance to explore various majors, learn about transfer requirements, and discover how Delta College can serve as a stepping stone to earning an Associate Degree or transferring to a four-year university.
While reservations are not required, attendees are encouraged to fill out a form ahead of time by visiting the Delta College website. College Night promises to be an informative event for anyone considering their next steps in education.
