Cinco de Mayo festival was one for the books this year! An estimated 50,000 community members across San Joaquin County were expected during this year’s festival held on both Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th at Weber’s Point in Stockton, California. The event was kicked off by a 5k run followed by festivities beginning on May 4th. Filled with vendors, activities, artisans, art, and food, it was destined to create fun for the entire family.

Non-profits, local businesses, notable local figures (such as Astronaut Jose Hernandez), and local artists were all participants of the event. The Mexican spirit was strong as many gathered in the community sharing their cultural pride by displaying the Mexican flag.

One of the largest Latinx media networks, Univision, was one of this year's local sponsor alongside others. Notable local bands took center stage, including Banda La Legacia, pictured below.

The festival was brought to life by El Concilio.
