The jury selection for this trial will begin soon. Robert Somerville is a local business owner who is being prosecuted for the killing of Captain Max Fortuna.
Early this year Fortuna and his crew were responding to a dumpster fire call. Unfortunately while working this scene Somerville shot multiple times outside as it is claimed he did not know was going on. These shots hit Fortuna, causing life threatening injuries when he later passed. January 2023 will start the trial for Somerville once a jury is selected.
