A bomb threat reported at Franklin High School in Stockton on Thursday prompted the evacuation of students and staff. However, the threat has been found to be not credible, according to the Stockton Unified School District. The incident was reported around 12:30 p.m.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and brought in bomb-sniffing dogs to conduct a thorough search of the campus. No suspicious items were found during the search.
Authorities are currently investigating the source of the prank call, but no information about the individual responsible is known at this time.
